Portrait_de_Louis_XIV_en_costume_de_sacre.jpg est une nouvelle version de l’œuvre éponyme du peintre perpignanais Hyacinthe Rigaud. Pour cette copie l’artiste a fourni à un atelier de reproduction chinois des éléments exclusivement trouvés en ligne, la taille du tableau par exemple provient de Wikipedia et le contenu est constitué d’images pixelisées et dégradées glanées sur Google image. Certaines erreurs liées à la compression jpeg ont ainsi été reproduites par les copistes.

Portrait_de_Louis_XIV_en_costume_de_sacre.jpg is a new version of the eponymous work by the Perpignan painter Hyacinthe Rigaud. For this copy the artist has provided a Chinese reproduction workshop with elements found exclusively online, the size of the painting for example comes from Wikipedia and the content is made of pixelated and degraded images gleaned from Google image. Some errors related to jpeg compression have been reproduced by the copyists.
