A la fin de l’année 2015 à Paris, Bertrand Planes en manque de montagne et à la recherche de nouveaux territoires décide de gravir des immeubles pour retrouver la sensation de l’ascension. Il entame une exploration de la tour à proximité de son atelier dans le 19e arrondissement. Pris à son propre jeu, il réalise finalement 7 aller-retours en une heure soit l’équivalent de 210 étages et 1400m de dénivelés confondus. Pour constater son effort il décide alors de redonner virtuellement à l’immeuble la hauteur parcourue.
Il nomme Mont Reybmann cette première exploration, du nom de l’amie qui lui avait donné les codes d’accès du bâtiment.
Depuis, immeuble après immeuble il crée de nouveaux reliefs et dessine les principes de l’ascension indoor. Il réalise avec Émilie Mazeau l’équivalent des 6000m de dénivelé cumulés du mont Olympe dans l’hôtel Novotel à paris 15e en parcourant 1920 étages.

At the end of 2015 in Paris, Bertrand Planes in need of mountains and in search of new territories decides to climb buildings to rediscover the sensation of ascension. He begins an exploration of the tower near his studio in the 19th arrondissement. Caught at his own game, he finally made 7 round trips in one hour, which is the equivalent of 210 floors and 1400m of difference in height.To see his effort, he decided to virtually give back to the building the height he had covered. He named this first exploration Mont Reybmann, after the friend who had given him the access codes to the building.
Since then, building after building, he creates new reliefs and draws the principles of indoor climbing. With Émilie Mazeau, he achieved the equivalent of the 6000m of cumulative height difference of Mount Olympus in the Novotel hotel in Paris 15th, covering 1920 floors.
